This bowl from the collection titled Zaika meaning “Taste” in Hindi, is individually handcrafted and fired in an electric kiln. The collection draws inspiration from wood block prints used to print textiles and mimics the motifs and distressed, rustic texture of the wood. This is achieved using a technique called oxide wash.

These are available in 3 different motifs and 4 different colours. Each motif is named after a pioneer in the field of Indian food culture

Each piece in this range is hand built one at a time. It is therefore rare to create identical items. There may be natural blemishes or variations that are not product flaws. Such variations are inherent in the manufacturing of hand built ceramics. So you may find minor distinctions that make your Zaika bowl unique and truly one of a kind.
